Introducing Ebony: REMM’s New Account Executive

Welcome to our Q&A session with Ebony, our new Account Executive! We are excited to have Ebony join our team and share her insights and expertise in the marketing industry. In this Q&A, we will dive into Ebony’s background, her approach to building successful client relationships, staying updated on the latest marketing trends, and more.

  1. Can you tell us about your background and previous experience in the marketing industry?

My journey in the marketing industry began when I left school in 2018, i decided to do an apprenticeship with a cyber security company based in Manchester. After completing this, I decided to go and do an estate agency. Alongside working as a property manager, I acquired my level 2 and three in property management while running the agency’s social media and marketing campaigns. After spending four years doing this, I knew I wanted to return to marketing. I started as a marketing trainee at a construction group in Manchester which has now led me to Real Estate Marketing Media and I can’t wait for this next venture.

  1. What initially attracted you to the property marketing industry?

The property marketing industry couldn’t be more perfect for me to put my energy into, I love the property sector and marketing equally. I find them both really interesting and it makes work fun and engaging each and every day. 

  1. How do you approach building successful relationships with clients?

The key things when building and maintaining strong relationships with clients is, developing clear and concise communication, transparency, exceeding expectations and keeping an open mind. 

  1. How do you stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in the property marketing industry?

I’m very active on social media. I actively stay updated on the latest trends and innovations. I engage with industry leaders and follow relevant subscriptions to bring innovative ideas to the table and ensure our clients have a competitive edge.

  1. What do you enjoy most about working in a client-facing role?

Client facing roles gives your role more meaning and to me, it gives me more motivation to do well and work hard, not only for the client I’m building relationships for but for the company I am a part of.

  1. What role does data and analytics play in your marketing strategies

They help me understand consumer behaviour, campaign performance, and market trends. I can make informed decisions on how to improve campaigns and achieve better results for our clients.

  1. How do you envision collaborating with our clients to achieve their marketing goals?

Clear communication, transparency, and exceeding expectations are key. Building strong client relationships and driving success motivates me both for the client and the company I represent.

  1. What’s your favourite way to unwind after a long day at work?

My favourite thing is taking my doggo for a walk and spending time with him, friends and family.

  1. What’s your favourite song at the moment?

America has a problem – Beyonce 

  1. What’s your favourite TV show or series to binge-watch?

I couldn’t pick one, here’s three:

  1. Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?

At the moment I am loving spending time painting and doing yoga, however, my hobbies change all the time!
